In 1997 – 2004, he worked with the Polish Securities and Exchange Commission (KPWiG), among others as Counsel to the Chairman of the Commission and Press Officer. In 2004, he was appointed Head of Cabinet of the Minister of the State Treasury. In 2005, he was appointed Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of the State Treasury. In 2006 – 2009, he was Management Board Member of PKO TFI.

In 2006 - 2010, Lecturer of a post-graduate programme at the Higher School of Finance and Management in Warsaw.

In 2003 – 2013, Member of the Council of the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Warsaw; in 2010 – 2013, Deputy Dean of the Council. In 2013, awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit for his contribution to pro bono legal counselling and development of volunteering.

Legal Counsel. He holds an MA from the Faculty of Law, University of Warsaw, he completed a British Law Studies Programme, University of Cambridge. He has co-authored the publications Zasady emisji obligacji komunalnych [Principles of Issuing Municipal Bonds] and Prawa i obowiązki akcjonariusza spółki publicznej [Rights and Obligations of Public Company Shareholders].
