KDPW operates an authorised central securities depository.
Pursuant to Article 57(1)(1)-(3) of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments of 29 July 2005, KDPW registers securities in:1) depository accounts that do not allow for the identification of the holder of the account in which the securities are recorded;
2) securities accounts; and
3) omnibus accounts.
Depository accounts, securities accounts and omnibus accounts are maintained by KDPW exclusively for financial institutions that are KDPW participants.
The list of KDPW participants maintaining securities accounts or omnibus accounts is available free of charge on the Data Portal.
